Cigarette Adverising and Kids

Studies show that kids are more sensative to advertising than adults. Marlboro is thr most heavely advertised cigarettes. Over 60 of youth smokes Marlboro and only 25% of adults smoke Marlboro.

A recent storie related to smoke advertisingand kids was that of the Camel cigarette company. The company was acused of perpously targeting kids in thier adverting. Since then, they have changed thier advertising.

Misconceptions

A person can quit smoking any time they want.

Smokeless tabacco is not as bad as cigarettes.

There is no problem with second hand smoke.
